Tour Overview

Day 01 – Arrival / Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and check into your hotel in Negombo. Relax and unwind, exploring the local beaches and markets.

Day 02 – Negombo / Anuradhapura

Travel to Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals. Explore the ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage site, cycling through its historic monuments, including the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree and Ruwanwelisaya Stupa.

Day 03 – Anuradhapura / Polonnaruwa / Dambulla

Ride through the ancient city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle, seeing relics such as Gal Vihara and the Lotus Pond. In the evening, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, known for its intricate frescoes and golden Buddha statues.

Day 04 – Dambulla / Kandy

In the morning, hike up the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient citadel with stunning views. In the afternoon, travel to Kandy and explore the Sacred City, including the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic, and enjoy a cultural dance performance in the evening.

Day 05 – Kandy / Knuckles Mountain Range / Kandy

Embark on a trek through the stunning Knuckles Mountain Range, renowned for its biodiversity and scenic views. Return to Kandy in the evening.

Day 06 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

On your way to Nuwara Eliya, stop at the Ramboda Waterfalls for a refreshing break. Visit a tea factory for a tour and indulge in the traditional tea plucking experience.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya

Start your day with a visit to Horton Plains National Park, where you’ll hike to World’s End, a breathtaking cliff with panoramic views of the surrounding forest and valleys.

Day 08 – Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Udawalawe

Enjoy one of the most scenic train journeys in the world from Nanu Oya to Ella, passing through lush landscapes and tea plantations. En route, visit the stunning Ravana Waterfalls.

Day 09 – Udawalawe / Sinharaja

Take a morning Jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park, known for its large elephant population. Later, head to the Sinharaja Rainforest for an overnight stay.

Day 10 – Sinharaja

Explore the Sinharaja Rainforest with a knowledgeable naturalist guide, observing the rich biodiversity and endemic species in this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 11 – Sinharaja / Galle

Travel to Galle, where you’ll explore the Galle Dutch Fort and Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site with charming colonial architecture and seaside views.

Day 12 & 13 – Day at Leisure

Enjoy two full days of relaxation at your leisure, either by the beach in Galle or exploring the local surroundings at your own pace.

Day 14 – Galle / Departure

After breakfast, head to the airport for your departure, reflecting on your unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka.
